RTVSLO have received a total of 169 entries for next year's EMA which will decide Alenka Gotar's successor to the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest.

The Slovenian broadcaster has received 169 entries for EMA 2008, the country's final for the Eurovision Song Contest. The number of entries is expected to rise, possibly reaching 200 songs.

The special jury appointed by RTVSLO will meet on 11 December to decide which 20 songs will qualify for the two semi finals to held on 1st and 2nd February 2008. The ten songs that will make it to the EMA 2008 final will compete on the next day when Alenka Gotar's successor will be decided.
