Former Melodifestivalen contestants Shirley Clamp and Sarah Dawn Finer join voices and sing in duet in 'The Christmas Show'. The premiere is tomorrow in Göteborg.
Tomorrow, at the Scandinavium, in Göteborg, Sweden's biggest christmas musicshow properly known as The Christmas Show kicks off. The singers ThomasDi Leva, Anders Ekborg and Christer Sjögren complete the cast of singers who will revisit many of the classics for this time of the year. Theywill be accompanied on stage by a bigorchestraconducted by Anders Eljiasand anemsemble of dancers.
Sarah and Shirley feel happy performing together. "It's a very funny group of people",said Sarah FinertoExpressen. "We have often sang together but only athome. We know each other well", added Sarah.
The show will tour Sweden till 19 December, with the last show being held at Stockholm's Globen Arena. The Christmas Show will also bepresented in Linköping (7 Dec.), Jönköping (8 Dec.),Leksand (12 Dec.), Karlstad (13 Dec.).
Sarah Dawn Finer tried her luck for the Eurovision Song Contest in the 2007 Melodifestivalen and placed fourth. Shirley Clamp has tried in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
