Discover Vienna: Special guided tours for visitors during Eurovision!

ESCToday in collaboration with Vienna Tourist Board (Wien.info) will be bringing you a series of articles leading up to the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in order to showcase and introduce the 2015 Eurovision host city Vienna to our readers. Today we will have a look at some special guided tours that have been specially prepared for the fans and visitors coming to Vienna during the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

The 2015 Eurovision host city Vienna is all set to mesmerise Europe and the world next May when the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest bandwagon arrives in Wien. Thousands of visitors, Eurovision fans, journalists are expected to arrive in the Austrian capital. Preparations are in full swing in the Vienna, as the city is all geared to dress up for the ocassion.

Visitors will be able to discover Vienna’s architecture, history, sights, monuments, parks,musical heritage and Royal legacy through special walking tours. They will be able explore the Imperial capital and admire its beauty and charm.

Vienna Tourist Board has prepared a series of special guided tours for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest visitors, running from 19- 23 May. These tours will be 2 hours long and will be held several times a day. They will cost 15 euros and are set to showcase the diversity of the Austrian capital. Visitors and fans wishing to take the tours will be able to take the tours in German, English and French.The meeting point for these tours will be Herbert-von-Karajan-Platz near the Vienna State Opera.
