SBS, the Australian national broadcaster held a press conference yesterday at Sydney’s Opera House in order to reveal the 2015 Australian candidate.
Guy Sebastian will fly the Aussie flag next May at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. The press conference was hosted by Ms. Julia Zemiro and Sam Pang. Australian and international press were invited to attend the press conference in Sydney. The CEO of SBS Mr. Michael Ebaid and Blink TV’s Mr Paul Clarke (Head of Delegation for Eurovision Australia) were also present during the press conference.
During the press conference the Aussie Eurovision representative got a chance to interact with the press and answer their questions. Guy Sebastian spoke about his forthcoming Eurovision participation. He even performed one of his songs on the piano for the assembled press and media.

Guy Sebastian has been selected via an internal selection to represent Australia at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. Australia has been given a Wildcard to the grand final of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest and will thus be the 27th country to take the stage on 23 May at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna.
The 2015 Australian entry is expected to be released in the coming days. Australia will air and vote in all the 3 2015 Eurovision Song Contest shows (19, 21 and 23 May).
