Our colleagues from songfestival.web-log report that the Georgian broadcaster GTVR has announced the names of 12 artists that will compete in the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest next year.

The Georgian national final will be held in March, the exact date is unknown yet. The 12 artists that will take part are:

2. Diana Gurtskaya
3. Tamta Chelidze
4. Tika Patsatsia
5. Tako Gachechiladze
6. Salome Gasviani
7. Salome Korkotashvili
8. Guga Aptsiauri
9. Group “Vivo”
10. Irakli Pirtskhalava
11. Tako, Nini, Kristine
12. Theatre quartet

Diana Gurtskaya competed in this year's Byelorussian national final.

Georgia made it's debut at the Eurovision Song Contest this year. Sopho reached a respectable 12th place with her song Visionary dream.
