Diana Piedade

Her full name is Diana Patrícia Silveira Piedade. Known as Diana Silveira in her fan-site, the singer began her professional music career when she was only a teenager. She started singing with the band Duck (which would be renamed as Gizmo later on) and then she would join Fadomorse.

In 2004 she featured in the musical Cabeças do ar in the production at the Teatro Municipal de Lisboa.

She spent some time in Paris as a backing vocalist for a French band that paid tribute to Pink Floyd.

It was in 2009 when she had the opportunity to prove her skills as a performer before a huge audience as a contender in the talent-show Ídolos, the Portuguese version of Pop-Idol which was broadcast by the network SIC.

In 2010 she travelled around Portugal with her tour Rock On Diana. That year she featured too in Rock in Rio in Lisbon.

She led a project called 3:33 between 2011 and 2012. The folowing year she would join the band A Tree of Signs as the lead singer, which she left in 2014.

Diana Piedade will participate in the 6th place at the second semi-final of the Portuguese national selection for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
