According to the Finnish news website iltalehti.fi, Jaana Pelkonen, host of the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, will be visiting Spain “to meet their organisation and follow their national selection”.
Judging by Jaana Pelkonen's declarations to iltalehti.fi, the Spanish broadcaster TVE will be holding a national selection to choose the Iberian country's representative for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Belgrade (Serbia) on May 20th, 22th and 24th.
Jaana stated that she has been invited to Spain "to meet their organisation and follow their national selection". Although Televisión Española have not specified their method to select the Spanish entry for 2008 yet, Jaana's declarations could contribute to clear up the uncertainty on TVE's plans for next year's Eurovision Song Contest.
