Anișoara Volînschi

Anișoara Volînschi is an up and coming young artist from Moldova. In April of last year she took part in a 5 week long competition held at a karaoke club in Chisinau. The prize was 10,000 lei which is almost €2,500. Originally eighteen people were to participate but in the end only fifteen were involved in the heats. Unfortunately she did not make it as far as the semi final.
Her path to the Moldovan had a stroke of good fortune as she originally did not make it to that stage. The pop band Edict withdrew and she was called back to take part.
