Tonight, the final show of the Lithuanian national selection, Eurovizija 2015, took place where the remaining three artists battled it out to be crowned as the Eurovizija 2015 champion.

The three Eurovizija finalists, Mia, Monika Linkytė and Vaidas Baumila, performed for the last time on the national selection. Before the final show, it was decided that Mia would compete as a solo artist whilst Monika and Vaidas would compete as a duo.

As with the previous seven shows, a combined public televote and jury vote (50/50) took place in order to decide which artist would represent their country at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

The results were unanimous as Monika and Vaidas received the most amount of votes from both the public and jury, therefore earning the right to represent their country at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in the host city of Vienna. They will perform their entry, This time, which was decided during last week’s show.

Last year, Vilija Matačiūnaitė was selected via the national selection Eurovizija to represent Lithuania at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in the host city of Copenhagen. With her entry Attention, Vilija performed in the second semi-final finishing in 11th position with a total of 36 points, therefore failing to qualify to the Grand Final.
