German Eurovision Song Contest entrant Guildo Horn is making his Opera Debut on Saturday 17th November in Singen, Germany (close to the Lake of Constance). Guildo the lead singer of Die Orthopädischen Strümpfe does not believe in the separation or splitting music into categories such as pop music and more serious music. "All music is entertainment and people should enjoy it and forget the troubles of the day", he said. "Mozart was a great pop music composer and you can find many of his tunes that later became part of great pop hits", he continues. He is convinced that his pop music voice fits perfectly alright for Classic music as well. It is a great challenge for him.

Guildo Horn. whose real name is Horst Köhler, represented Germany at the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest in Birmingham, United Kingdom achieving a remarkable 7th place with the song Piep Piep Piep – Guildo hat Euch lieb.
