3. Erika Selin – Break me up
Erika is 23 years old and hails from Dorotea in Sweden. She is no stranger to competitions having participated in Sweden’s Idol 2009 where she finished in eighth place. She is also a prolific song writer. Originally the Melodifestivalen 2010 song Kom, was entered by her although it was eventually performed by Timoteij.
She says that she is very proud to be a part of Eurosong 2015 since Ireland is one of the absolute top nations in the Eurovision Song Contest with a tremendous track record, always producing great songs.
The writers are Gustav Eurén, Niclas Arn and Danne Attlerud. All have previous Eurovision experience. Gustav with five Melodifestivalen entries (some with Niclas Arn) and Danne Attlerud being nine times at Melodifestivalen and in the National selections for seven other countries. Together they all wrote Your lies, which finished second in the 2014 Danish Melodi Grand Prix
