After the customary introduction by Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir, there is a recap of the song Á ballið á which did not reach the final last week but will get a second chance in the 12th week.

1. In your dreams – Davíð Þorsteinn Olgeirsson (singer and composer)

The first song of the evening is a piano pop song in the style of the Beatles. A classy performance by the singer who plays the keyboards himself. The intro reminds of the intro of Amy Winehouse's song Back to black and besides the Beatles, this entry also sounds kind of like the Beach Boys. Overall an interesting mixture of various international hits.

2. Lífsins leið – Áslaug Hálfdánardóttir (singer and composer)

It's a catchy song and another one in a rather old-fashioned style. The vocal performance is very good at the beginning but the singer is slightly off-key towards the end. Nevertheless, the charismatic singer – who is dressed in blue and black – gives an overall solid even if unspectacular performance.

3. The picture – Þóra Gísladóttir (singer) Hjörleifur Ingason (composer)

The first and only choreography of the evening. Þóra's background singers are synchronously rolling over two black cubes while the singer – dressed in black and white – stands in the middle where she seems very comfortable. The vocals are very good while The picture is an up-tempo pop song typical for Eurovision Song Contest national finals.

Davíð Þorsteinn Olgeirsson has won the televote and will take part in the national final on 16th February with his song In your dreams.
