Anne Gadegaard is a 23 years old singer and blogger from Copenhagen. She became hugely famous in 2003 when she won the children’s Melodi Grand Prix in Denmark with Arabiens drøm, which would become the first entry to represent the country in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest that same year.

After that she was a very active artist, releasing 5 album, until she took a break in 2006. In 2013 she wrote the song Bog skyerne, dedicated to her late mother.

Now she is back in action and willing to attempt to represent Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest. To do so, Anne will compete in the Dansk MGP with the song Suitcase. The track is described by the singer as a pure pop song that says that nothing is unattainable.

The artist is of course willing to win with Suitcase, but it is not the chance of a victory what moved her to participate in the Danish national selection. As she explained, to me it’s not so much about winning. It’s about letting people hear my music.

Suitcase has been written by Magnus Funemyr, composer of the music theme for the series 2900 Happiness, andMicky Skeel, a musician and an actor famous for his roles in Danish movies such as Remix and Love is all you need. Skeel is the boyfriend of Anne Gadegaard.
