Anti Social Media
The way you are
Anti Social Media is a new band whose four young members have an individual story playing music behind them.
Philip, a 19-year young man from Fredericia is a vocalist; Nicholas, also 19, comes from Køge and plays the guitar. David, 25, lives in Nørrebro and he plays the bass; and Emil, from Copenhagen, is 24 years old and is dedicated to the drums.
Philip and Nicholas were students till last summer. David is working on his bachelor’s degree at the Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium and Emil, in his own words, has 50% of his degree.
Anti Social Media is a new band, and they are of course new to the Dansk MGP. This “newcomers” appearance will be balanced by the entry that they will perform in Aalborg on 7 February, The way you are, which has been written by a team of winners: Remee and Lars “Chief 1” Pedersen, the composers of the MGP-winning entry Should’ve known better in 2012, which Soluna Salmay sang in Baku that year for Denmark.
The way you are is described by Anti Social Media member Philip as a Sixties-inspired summer pop -song. It is a cheerful song with a bold energy that makes you happy.
