The 7th edition of the Star Academy will very soon begin in France, with two international stars as “godmothers” of the 16 young contenders : Kylie Minogue and Céline Dion.

Both Celine and Kyliewill be releasing theirnew albums very soon. So this patronage will give them the privilege of a prime time show, usually one of the most successful of the year on TF 1. Regarding Céline's new international CD, it is due to be released in mid-November, under the title "Taking chances". The singer has already announced that 2008 will see her back on stage outside America. Her tour will include 6 dates in Paris-Bercy, the biggest hall of the French capital city with a capacity up to 18.000 persons.

Celine Dion, one of the word's most successful singers, won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988 for Switzerland with the song Ne partez pas sans moi.
