Yesterday evening, the full list of artists which will take part in the Israeli reality programme The Next Show (HaKokhav HaBa), which will decide who will represent Israel at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, have been decided.

A few weeks ago, the casting stage of The Next Star concluded where a total of 45 acts qualified to the next stage of the competition. From there, a total of 3 shows took place where 15 acts competed in each show. Each act was required to receive a total of 3 out of 4 votes from the jury to qualify to the next stage of the contest with a total of 5 acts qualifying from each show.

The participants have since been narrowed down once again with a total of 10 acts qualifying has finalists. The artists have been listed below.

3. Iki Levi & The Rasta Hebrew Men
4. Lirose Balas
5. Nadav Gadej
6. Nava Tehila Walker
7. Orit Binsay
8. Sa’ar “Rusty” Davidov
9. Sari Nachmias
10. Yifi & Osher Aricha

The acts above will now battle it out to become The Next Star champion where they will then go on to represent Israel at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in the host city of Vienna, Austria. The date of the final has not yet been released.

An agreement with the Israel national broadcaster, IBA, was made last year where the winner of the second season of The Next Star would go on to represent the country at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. You can read more about the show’s process here.
