This Sunday LRT will hold the third Lithuanian semi-final after which we will know one or two more candidates for the Lithuanian final for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. As usual, the jury comprises of professional singers and Lithuanian show business experts. This time the first qualifier will be chosen by Arnoldas Lukoius, Saulius Urbonavičius-Samas and Aistė Pilvelytė.

Tomorrow five children will try to reach the Lithuania national final for the 2007 Junior Eurovision song Contest, which will be held on October 21. The first qualifier will be the one that gets the most points from the jury and the second will be the one voted by the TV viewers. But last Sunday the results confused TV viewers because only one child qualified for the final. The reason is that the jury and the viewers awarded most points to the same song-Evelina Bučinskaitė- Čia ir dabar (Right here and now).

This Sunday in the jury we will see faces very familiar to Eurovision fans: Arnoldas Lukošius, lead "dancer" of LT United who represented Lithuania in 2006, Saulius Urbonavičius, in Lithuania better known as Samas, who has represented Lithuania once as LT United member and Aistė Pilvelytė, regular Eurovision national finals participant (1999, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007).

The following children will be competing this Sunday:

1. Eglė Petrikaitė- Kitokia svajonė (A different dream)
2. Dovaldė Ulčinaitė- Vaivorykštė (Rainbow)
3. Trio "GIG" –Draugystės daina (A friends' song)
4. Milda Rasilavičiūtė –Neklauada (Naughty child)
5. Monika Valiuškytė –Aš noriu šokti (I wanna dance)

The show will start at 10.00 (CET+1) and it will be webcast through LRT's website. At http://www.lrt.lt/ click on the right you will see "Tiesiogiai Internetu", clicking the first LRT logo starts live streaming. Afterwards, the show can be watched on archive (Archyvas).

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain. I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
