Who should represent the UK in Belgrade?

The UK OGAE Second Chance Contest web page has launched a poll to find out who fans think should represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Serbia.

The first part of the poll, at this link , will whittle 75 performers down to just 16 for a final vote. The artists in question include international stars such as Amy Winehouse, The Pet Shop Boys and even Estonia's own Vanilla Ninja, who represented Switzerland at the 2005 contest.

Whatever the chances of these artists actually representing the United Kingdom, the poll is a bit of fun aimed at picking the fantasy Eurovision Song Contest for the UK, which has suffered in recent years from a downturn of previous fortunes and a run of disastrous results. Could the Scissor Sisters pull a win out of the bag in Serbia? Could Take That clinch a sixth win for the UK? We may never know, but the poll may hint at who has the fans' dream vote!
