Lithuanian broadcaster LRT held the second semi final of this year's national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Evelina Buèinskaitë was chosen by the jury to move forward to the final, as she also was the televoters' favourite this second heat will send only one act to the final.
The line-up and results of the second heat:
- Karolina Zibkutë (11 years old) – Mamytës ðventë, 25 points
- Justas Jonauskas (13 years old) – Èia Kastytis nebûsiu, 22 points
- Evelina Buèinskaitë (10 years old) – Èia ir dabar, 32 points (WINNER)
- Dalius Garnys (12 years old)- Senelio bliuzas, 22 points
- Ieva Ðèerbinskaitë (11 years old) – Paðokim , 24 points
Evelina Buèinskaitë has been singing since she was 6 years old. She participated and was awarded in various local and international children music competitionsand the winnerof Maþøjø þvaigþdþiø valanda arranged by broadcaster LTV and runner-up in international festival Baltic Talent 2006. Three of her songs are released on CDs of the best children music collections.
The televoters agreed with the jury ,voting Evelina first with 273 votes.
