Tonight RTSH, the Albanian broadcaster held the first semi-final of the 53rd Festivali i Këngës. 9 acts made it to the final taking place on Sunday 28 December. The winner of the show will be the country’s representative in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
The first 9 finalists aiming to win the 53rd Festivali i Këngës have been decided tonight during the first semi-final of the festival. 13 more acts will compete on the second semi-final taking place tomorrow night.

It was revealed by ESCToday that during the Festivali i Këngës final, Alex Rybak, the winner of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, will be the special guest interval act.
