Latvian Television (LTV) has launched the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 website. It is in Latvian for the time being.
The guests can find the information about the history of Eurovision Song Contest, the preparation for next year's contest in Latvia, national finals, tickets and other important issues.
Arta Giga, the leader of the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 webgroup, sayed that “The official international Eurovision Song Contest website will be in Latvian, English, French, Spanish, and German and available for the visitors from February 2003 to August 2003. It will contain the news about the contest, people working on it and the participants.”
To provide the quality of the sending services of an international distributor company will be used. A competition for making the website was held. Seven webcompanies took part. The winner, in this case, the future partner of LTV will be announced by the end of November.
Let's hope that the latvian website will soon be available at least in English as well.
