Conchita Wurst who won the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen earlier this year has a busy festive season ahead of her. Esctoday.com takes a look what has been happening recently for the current reigning Eurovision champion and also we take a peek what she has in store for her fans in the build up to Christmas.

Conchita Wurst represented Austria in May at the Eurovision Song Contest. Wurst stormed to victory with the entry Rise like a phoenix creating an international media maelstrom in the wake of the contest.

Firstly Conchita ranks number 8 as the most re-blogged reality star slap bang in the middle of Kris Jenner and Paris Hilton. This is a true testament to her international cross over appeal. You can see the list here.

Wurst also makes an appearance on the You Tube Rewind Turn Down review of 2014.

Also more recently Conchita received recognition when ORF presented her with a gold CD as she had sold 100,000 copies of her winning entry Rise like a phoenix.
