Following the release of the CD single on the French market, last week, Verka's Ukrainian entry-Danzing- in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest shot to number 6 of the official Top 100 , this week's best entrance.
This is obviously the result of the huge promotional campaign of the record company ULM and of the support of the French TV channel M6. Last time a Eurovision entry reached such a high place was in 2001, when Natasha St-Pier placed 2nd. Verka will more than certainly climb higherin the weeks to come and could even top the chart.
Another Eurostar, Patrick Fiori, is presentlyin first place with his latest single , "Quatre mots sur un piano",together with Jean-Jacques Goldman.
