The town of Jerez de la Frontera, situated in Andalusia (Southern Spain), is to host a concert in which Dulce Pontes will present her new album. The Portuguese representative in Eurovision 1991 will show her excellent vocal skills on August 23rd.
O Coração Tem Três Portas is the name of the brand new album of Dulce Pontes. The Portuguese artist returns to fado and traditional folklore in her latest CD, after having explored other musical genres in the meantime.
Jerez de la Frontera will have the honour of hosting Dulce next August 23rd. This Andalusian town is celebrating its Summer festival Noches de Bohemia en el Alcázar. Other special guests that have performed in it include Spanish singer-songwriter Luis Eduardo Aute and Israeli star Noa.
Dulce Pontes participated at the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place in Rome. Dulce, with the song Lusitana paixão, was awarded 62 points and reached the eighth position in the final scoreboard, one of the highest placings ever achieved by Portugal.
