Danish broadcaster DR has presented the three couples who will battle it out to represent Denmark at the first Eurovision Dance Contest this year.

David and Mette, Kristian and Lotte and Martin and Maija are the three pairings who hope to take the Danish dance crown, and ultimately, the European one in London this year. Danish viewers will be able to vote for their favourites by SMS or televoting in the show, hosted by Sisse Fisker.

DR has also suggested that it will stick by the new Eurovision dance show format, and is "99%" certain that it will take part in next year's event as well.

The three couples will dance together in the Danish final this Friday, 24th August from 20:00 to 21:00 CET.
