SRF, the Swiss German speaking broadcaster has unveiled the names of the artists selected to take part in the next stage of the Swiss national selection.
Last Monday, SRF closed the voting in their online portal. Over 200 entries were submitted online and over the past number of weeks, the public and SRF/RTR jury have been voting for their favourite acts to go through to the next stage of the competition. Below you can find the 9 SRF/RTR acts selected to go through to the second phase.

The 9 acts listed above join the 3 acts that were selected by the Swiss Italian speaking national broadcaster, RSI, and the 6 acts chosen by the Swiss French speaking national broadcaster, RTS, to take part in the second phase of the competition. During the second phase of the contest, the 18 selected acts will audition live in front of a special panel who will then narrow the 18 acts down to 6 acts – 3 acts from SRF/RTR, 2 acts from RTS and 1 act from RSI. The artists will then take part in the national final on the 31 January in the city of Kreuzlingen.
