RTS has received over 200 applications for next year’s national selection; the auditions phase will begin on 17 November in the southern city of Niš.
Serbian Broadcaster announced having received, in only 12 days, over 200 submissions from non-established acts to fill the third spot on next year’s Beosong, their national selection for the Europe’s Favourite TV Show.
Vladimir Graić is in process of listening to all the recordings of the potential candidates in order to choose the ones that will qualify to the next phase of auditions, set to begin on 17 November in Niš.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and undiscovered talent that I’ve heard and choose the best among them will not be easy, said Vladimir to RTS in an interview. This is just another confirmation that our country is very rich in talented artists who often do not have the opportunity, he added.
Auditions for Beosong 2015
- 17/11 – Niš
- 19/11 – Zajećar
- 21/11 – Kragujevac
- 24/11 – Užice
- 26/11 – Novi Sad
- 28/11 – Belgrade
As previously reported, next year’s Beosong will feature three acts singing sings composed by Vladimir Graić; two of them will be well known names selected by the RTS, the remaining act will be chosen by the composer among the applications received.
Beosong 2015 will take place in February 2015, the exact date will be revealed due in curse.
Serbia has participated at Eurovision seven times, with Molitva being their best result, winning on the country’s debut in 2007.
