PBS, has just announced that the Eurovision Queen, none other than Conchita Wurst will open the final show of the Maltese national selection for 2015.

In an unexpected announcement on the popular Maltese show Xarabank, artist/show coordinator Gordon Bonello has announced that just like last year, the current Eurovision winner will open the final show. Emmelie de Forest opened the MESC 2014 final last February and also premiered the official song of Eurovision 2014, Rainmaker.

Now it will be Conchita’s turn to sing on the Maltese stage on the 22nd November. Conchita said:

I am totally excited that I can be with you during the National Finals of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest.  I am so happy to visit the Maltese Islands, I heard so many good things about your beautiful country.  I can’t wait to be with you. It’s going to be great!
