Dark floors, the first Finnish long horror movie will be premiered in Finland on February 8th and features all the Lordi band members playing the monsters. Mr Lordi designed the logo of the movie and the poster has been published. During the end credits of the movie Lordi�s fans will hear a brand new song of the band.
Friday 13th yesterday and Fangoria, an internationally-distributed US film fan magazine specializing in the genres of horror movies, published the poster of the forthcoming Finnish movie Dark floors where Lordi band members playing…the monsters! Mr. Lordi the Biomechanical Man, Amen the Ancient Assassin (a mummy), Ox the Hell Bull, Awa the Vampire Countess, and Kita the Alien Man Beast.

Dark floors-Synopsis
Concerned for her autistic daughter’s health, the father sees a removal from the hospital by force as the only option. An elevator break-down prevents a smooth exit and renders them trapped with others. Yet the incident is only the beginning of a descent into nightmare. As the doors open the hospital appears mysteriously deserted. When mutilated bodies are found, creatures from a dark world start a frightening attack. It soon becomes clear that the survival of the group may rest solely on the little girl.
Mr Lordi told to Fangoria Magazine: ‘’If somebody watches the film and doesn’t know anything about Lordi, it’s ok ; they’ll still be able to enjoy it fully, and maybe never know that the monsters are the members of a band’’.The movie should not feature any songs. “You can have the goriest monster lurking somewhere, but if you put heavy metal in the soundtrack at that moment, it’ll make it look silly,” Mr. Lordi notes. Nevertheless, during the end credits of the movie Lordi’s fans will hear a brand new song of the band.
