Eighteen countries will be represented at the contest on December 8th in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, including Eurovision Song Contest 2007 debutante Georgia, replacing Bosnia and Herzogovina in the line-up after the latter's withdrawal.
Dutch viewers will be hoping to improve on a solid, if not impressive record at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, after a series of mediocre results at the event culminating in a high of seventh place with Tess' Stupid at the 2005 contest.
