Cheryl, Mike & Jay, Formerly of Bucks Fizz, will perform their only theatre show this year at Chequer Mead Theatre this coming November 29.
The band, rebranded from the Original Bucks Fizz, have also announced details for their 2015 Paradise Regained Tour. From April until November, Cheryl, Mike and Jay, Formerly of Bucks Fizz, will perform in venues across the UK and Ireland, as well as through Germany and Belgium.
In an interview with the East Grinstead Courier, Cheryl explained the band’s close links to the small West Sussex town of East Grinstead and the band’s decision to perform their only theatre show of the year there. Her twin daughters, Kyla and Natalie, trained at the town’s drama schools, Stagecoach and Bullfrog Productions. She also announced proudly that her daughters will perform as support for Formerly of Bucks Fizz when they take to the stage at Chequer Mead.
Cheryl, Mike & Jay, Formerly of Bucks Fizz, won the Eurovision Song Contest 1981 as part of the band Bucks Fizz, along with band member Bobby G. Bobby G continues to perform as part of Bucks Fizz, along with his wife, Heidi.
