Greece: Koza Mostra unlikely to return in Eurovision

The lead singer of the band Koza Mostra, Ilias Kozas, who, along with Agathon Iakovidis, represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest of 2013 with Alcohol is free, has recently stated that Koza Mostra are unlike to participate at Eurovision in the future.

Speaking to Positive Magazine, Ilias Kozas tells the interviewer that the chances of another Eurovision Song Contest appearance are limited.  Having welcomed his Eurovision experience, Ilias Kozas is now looking to move his music into other directions.

Koza Mostra released their debut album Keep up the rhythm in 2013.  The album was a big success in Greece, attaining triple platinum status. Summer 2014 was a busy time for Koza Mostra, with a series of concerts and festival appearances.  They also released the song Giorti :

Koza Mostra featuring Agathon Iakovidis represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest of 2013, which was held in Malmö, Sweden.  Qualifying in second place from the second Semi-final with their entry Alcohol is free, they went on to finish in sixth place in the Grand Final with a total of 152 points.

Greece has participated at the Eurovision Song Contest 35 times since debuting in 1974.  They triumphed at the contest of 2005 with Helena Paparizou and My number one.  Greece was last represented by Freaky Fortune featuring RiskyKidd with their song Rise up, a song which finished in twentieth place of the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest of 2014.
