Finland: Softengine release The sirens

Softengine, the Finnish representatives at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, have released a new single, The sirens.

The song is the third single from their upcoming debut album, We created the world. The album will be released at the end of this month, and it also features their Eurovision Song Contest entry Something better.

The song is currently available to download and an official video is expected shortly.

Softengine qualified to the grand final at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, and finished 11th in the grand final. This was the country’s best result since 2006.

Finland debuted at the sixth edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961, and to date they have only won the contest once. This win came in 2006 when Lordi won with their entry Hard rock hallelujah.
