Verka Serduchka is leading the charge on the United Kingdom downloads chart, currently sitting in 12th place on the British itunes chart, three days after the Eurovision Song Contest. She is two places higher than the British entry, Flying the flag (for you).
Slowly but surely, the United Kingdom chart is opening itself up to the Eurovision Song Contest again. Scooch are currently sitting in the top 5 of the official UK Top 40 Chart. Verka is at number 12 on the itunes chart, but not likely to feature in the official chart without a hard copy release of the song.
Fans in the United Kingdom will wait with interest for news about a possible UK release of Molitva, the english version is already widely available on the internet, titled Prayer. For Verka, it seems a 'happy end' for her 2007 participation.
