Sonja Alden storms Swedish Charts

As every year, Eurovision Song Contest related songs prove to be a huge success in Sweden. Less than one week before the show, many entries from Melodifestivalen – the Swedish national final – are still in the charts. Sonja Alden's much anticipated debut album has entered the Chart at number two, only The Ark stopped her entering at number one!

Currently, we can find four Melodifestivalen entries in the Top5 of the Swedish single charts. Furthermore, The Ark, who won the national final, are currently on first spot both in the single and the Album charts. Sonja Aldén's debut album Till dig has entered the charts on second spot: she competed in the 2007 Swedish final with För att du finns and finished 6th. She also competed ascomposer / lyricist on various occasions and was a backing singer for Lithuania in 2005. In summer, she will be on tour with Sanna Nielsen (Melodifestivalen 2005 & 2006) and Shirley Clamp (Melodifestivalen 2004 & 2005).
