In a bid to become the Romania’s European Capital of Culture for the year of 2021, the Romanian city of Iași is currently hosting a ten day event with music being at the heart of the festival.

As part of the musical event, Iasi organised a special Eurovision Show which was hosted at the Palatul Culturii (Palace of Culture). Three former Eurovision participants were invited to perform at the event – Ruslana (Ukraine 2004), Alexander Rybak (Norway 2009) and Paula Seling & Ovi (Romania 2010 & 2014). Each artist performed a couple of their own singles at the free show including their Eurovision entries Wild dances, Fairytale, Playing with fire and Miracle.
