Brequette, the runner up at the 2014 Spanish national final is all set to conquer Finland when she takes the stage at the end of the month at Helsinki’s Hercules Club.
Brequette competed at the 2014 Spanish Eurovision national final with her song Run (Mas), achieving an honorable 2nd placing after a draw with Ruth Lorenzo ,who won the right to represent Spain at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest after winning the public televoting. Ruth Lorenzo won the public televoting whilst Brequette won the jury vote, thus both ended up in a tie on the scoreboard. In case of a tie, TVE’s rules stated that the song that received the highest vote from the public televoting would be declared the winner.
Brequette will perform at the Hercules Club in Helsinki on 28 June during the Hercules 2014 Pride Week. Javi Soleil member of DNASH, the 2007 Spanish Eurovision representatives will be also gracing the ocassion. DNASH represented Spain at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki with their entry I love you mi vida.
