The FIFA World Cup 2014 is around the corner with the kick off this Thursday. It’s time to take a look at two world cup song releases from eurovision artists.

Some might say that football isn’t the average eurovision fan’s best friend, but some might use it as a cure for their post eurovision depression! Some of them might actually know what’s going on during the game but others just pretend that the teams competing are the countries in eurovision and even try to vote for their favourite team!

Adelén who competed in the Melodi Grand Prix 2013 with Bombo to represent Norway in Malmö and finished second, has released her world cup song Olé. The song is also included in the official world cup 2014 album. You can watch the music video for Olé below:

Malta’s favourite Ira Losco has released her version of the Coca-Cola’s World Cup song The World is Ours. Supporting the song is a music video that was partially shot in Rio with David Correy. Below you can see some photos from the shoot of the video and the music video itself.
