World Music Awards 2014: The Eurovision winners

On Tuesday 27 May, the 22nd edition of the World Music Awards took place in the famous Monégasque city – Monte Carlo.

A number of international artists received awards at the big event, several of whom were invited to perform at the awards show. Three former Eurovision were amongst the artists to perform at the show – Anggun (France 2012), Samira Said (Morocco 1980) and Sakis Rouvas (Greece 2004, 2009).

As well as performing at the event, all three of the artists above received individual awards at the show. Below you can find out which Eurovision artist won which award at the music event.

  • Best-selling Indonesian Artist – Anggun (France 2012)
  • Best-selling Moroccan Artist – Samira Said (Morocco 1980)
  • Greek Legend – Sakis Rouvas (Greece 2004, 2009)

Originally the show was scheduled to air on the 28 May, however due to technical issues according to the official World Music Awards Twitter account, the event will instead be broadcast at a later date.
