“Really I feel great … thanks for your support,” Karolina Gocheva told a large crowd in Skopje, “I promise I won't have nerves on stage in Helsinki!” The singer who is representing FYR Macedonia for the second time in the Eurovision Song Contest gave a large concert in Skopje's Metropolis Arena last Thursday night. The concert was a send off of sorts for the country before they send Karolina to Helsinki.
Fans who attended the concert report that the energy was high, and they spoke enthusiastically about the good mood in the hall. Reportedly "the hall was shaking" when Karolina sang Mojot svet (My World).
Karolina was joined on stage by guests Vlatko Stefanovski, Zlatko Origanski, Aki Rakimovski. The popular Serbian group Flamingosi also joined Karolina so they could performed their hit Ti i ja together.
The Macedonian broadcaster offers a photo gallery from the concert here .
Some video shot by fans at the concert has surfaced on YouTube, although we haven't been able to verify that it was shot with Karolina's cooperation and approval.
