The two time Irish Eurovision representatives Jedward have recently announced that they would like to participate once again in the Eurovision Song Contest.

The duo announced this statement when being interviewed by Eurovision.tv.

Jedward said that if they were to compete again for a third time they would write the song themselves. This musical method is a new technique that Jedward have adopted as was used on their latest track Free spirit.

Jedward represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 and 2012. Their first entry was with the song Lipstick which finished in 8th place.

In 2012 they sang for Ireland again with the song Waterline which came in 19th at the final in Baku.
