Dave Benton to perform in Aruba

The government of Aruba has asked Dave Benton, the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2001, to lead the chairity concert 'We Will Remember' on September 11th on his home-island.

The organisers tell that he is the most famous artist of Aruba. Benton will also perform a duet with a singer from the USA, JC Phoenix.

“I take this chance to perform at my homecountry, where I haven't been for 10 years and also to help the children hurt in the terrorist attacs to the World Trade Center and Pentagon last year.”

The 4-hour show will be recorded by CBS and NBC. All the profits will be given to the children who were hurt in the terrorist attacks-

Many European and Latin-American artists have showed their interest to participate in it. All the songs performed will be released as an album 'We Will Remember'.

Benton has released 2 radiosingles in Estonia from his album 'From Monday To Sunday', which have been quite popular in the radiostations. Soon he'll start getting ready for recording his new album.
