Esctoday’s Head of Press Sergio Jiandani caught up with Spain’s representative, Ruth Lorenzo, in Copenhagen yesterday.

Ruth Lorenzo will perform her mid-tempo ballad Dancing in the rain on 10 May, as a direct qualifier for the Grand Final. Ruth won the right to represent Spain after winning the televised national final on 22 February. This isn’t the first time Ruth has competed in a music competition, after entering the British version of X-Factor in 2008, ultimately placing 5th in the competition.
