Exclusive: Todomondo interview and performance

by Stella Floras 65 views

Todomondo, who will be flying the Romanian flag in Helsinki, concluded their two day stopover in Athens this weekend. Accompanied by ERT executives they had a full schedule, taking part in various shows on major Greek TV channels. Still, they found the time (and energy) to talk and sing exclusively for esctoday.com

Esctoday.com met with Todomondo in their hotel in the center of Athens just after their live appearance on Mad TV, the most popular Greek music channel. They talked to us about their song, their message, what it takes for the team to stay together, how they are going to buy a BMW if Kamara keeps being late and much much more. Last but not least, they sing live exclusively for the esctoday.com readers Liubi, liubi I love you and …Yassou Maria.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.

I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
