Stockholm's Sarbel fever

Greek Eurovision Song Contest representative Sarbel whipped clubbers up into a frenzy at his recent appearance at Stockholm venue Club Connection.

Sarbel, who visited Stockholm as part of his continuing European promotional tour, gave a storming rendition of his entry for Greece Yassou Maria on stage while punters went wild on the dancefloor. He followed this up with, amongst other things, a song in Arabic, before reprising his Eurovision Song Contest entry at the end of the show.

Media interest
There was a slightly greater media interest in Sarbel's visit than would be expected for a non-Swedish Eurovision artist's visit, thanks in part to the efforts of local website Gylleneskor.se and the attendance of Greek-Swedish TV personality Alexandra Paschalidou, who posed for photographs with the Greek artist, and wished him luck for Helsinki. You can see photos of the event at this link in Gyllenskor.se's site.

Sarbel is currently in Romania on the next leg of the promo tour, hoping for a similarly wam welcome and potential points pick-up from new fans.
