Magdi Rúzsa, this year's Hungarian Eurovision Song Contest representative, has finished the video clip for her new single Hip-Hop. In the video, Magdi displays an entirely different aspect of her talent, showing that she can bridge the gap between rock and hip hop quite successfully.

Hip-Hop is Magdi's new single from her double platinum album Devilish Angel which is currently at #12 of the official Mahasz charts. Her Eurovision entry is charting at #19 from 23 last week.Hip-Hop was written by the international composers Carl Restivo, Wyclef Jean and Jerry Duplessis, and the Hungarian lyrics were written by Gábor Závodi.

The official press presentation of Unsubstantial blues will take place later this month at a club in Budapest during a special ceremony where Magdi will receive her double platinum records. The video of Hip-Hop will be officially presented on the same night.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.

I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
