Just a few days before she flies to Copenhagen, the UK’s 2014 entry Molly did some last minute promotion work in the UK by appearing on The One Show.

The popular UK tv show has been a keen supporter of the UK’s Eurovision acts in previous years with both Engelbert Humperdinck and Bonnie Tyler making appearances in the past.

The interview began with Molly reminding everyone how she was selected as the UK’s 2014 Eurovision entry. She was selected by BBC Eurovision after she uploaded her music to the BBC Introducing platform. This platform is designed for unknown and unsigned artist to get their music played on BBC radio.

Molly was questioned about the staging of the song but as always she didn’t give any details. She did however say that her and the rest of the team want to make sure that the music is represented on stage in the best possible way.

When discussing about Molly being an unknown, the presenter Alex Jones asked Molly if being unknown would be an advantage. Unsure on whether it was an advantage the singer songwriter said that Eurovision is a perfect platform for an aspiring artist like herself and thanked the BBC for the opportunity.

Molly will have her first rehearsal in Copenhagen on Sunday 4th May at 10:40 CET with the press meet and greet taking place 13:00 CET. Of course esctoday.com will be there to cover the story for you readers.

Molly is a 27 year old singer songwriter from the small county of Leicestershire in England. She started writing songs at an early age when she realised that the poems she had written were in fact lyrics. Molly continued to study music through her childhood.

Her first big success was in 2008 when she collaborated with DJ Sash! to create the UK top 10 hit Raindrops. More recently Molly has won several awards such as the best Urban/Pop act at Live and Unsigned and ‘Best

Thanks to her involvement with Eurovision Molly is now signed with Warner Music UK and is expected to release an album later this year according to her social network sites.
