During a special night held by OGAE Israel and Euphoria Tel Aviv, the Israeli Eurovision fans gathered right before the competition will begin. Liora (Israel 1995), Lihi Griner (Kdam 2013) and Si Heiman (Kdam 1995) also came to say good luck to Mei Finegold, along with… Conchita Wurst?

Leon Schneiderovsky, who became popular around Israel after his participation in the local Big Brother, performed a tribute toRise like a phoenix,this year’s Austrian entry, dressed exactly like Conchita Wurst.

OGAE Israel has awarded Mei a lifetime membership in the Israeli club. Mei herself gave the club her Star of David she made herself for the Eurovision postcard that will be shown right before her performance in the second semi-final. (In the picture above).

Two versions of the Israeli entry were performed: the regular ESC-version along with a new ballad version that was revealed for the first time. Watch the two performances below.
