The Ark : Video mid-April

Swedish representatives The Ark will release their official video this month, in good time for the clip to be promoted across Europe's TV stations before the contest.

Readers of Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet were treated to sneak previews from the video, which features extras from bodybuilders to skulls, and promises everything from "burlesque to 90s kitsch". It will be aired from mid-April, complimenting the Melodifestivalen-based performance video which is currently being shown around Europe in preview shows.

The planned release date of the video stands in contrast to last year's Swedish entry Invincible – Carola's video was released only days before the contest in Athens, and promotion up to the contest had been undertaken solely through the live Melodifestivalen clip.
