Thirty-seven countries are competing with the aim to lift the trophy in Copenhagen. The next country to be introduced is Belgium. Singing for Belgium this year is Axel Hirsoux.

Axel Hirsoux grew up in Courcelles, a small town near Charleroi, and being a singer has been his dream since he was a little child. This humble boy studied music for five years and is a excellent trumpeter. Last year he entered in the Walloon version of The Voice under the coaching of the 2001 French representative Natasha Saint-Pier.

Having loved the Eurovision Song Contest since early years Axel tried his luck enrolling into the Flemish slection, Eurosong. This 28 years old singer confessed he didn’t expected to win the Flemish ticket to Copenhagen being a Walloon contestant.
